Cincinnati papers of the 2d inst. give accounts of a serious disturbance in that city for several days and nights, growing out of an alleged charge against some abolitionists there to aid the escape of a domestic attendant of a slave holder from New Orleans. Several thousand persons assembled and made an attack on Mr. Burnett's confectionary establishment, the same individual who had on a former occasion excited the indignation of a similar assemblage. Several of the rioters were severely injured by stones, and by receiving on their head boiling molasses, several buckets full of which were poured out of the window on them. Some of the persons engaged in the riot have been arrested. The military was called out, and, by the 2d, order was in a measure restored.
