Full Text

It is perhaps, not generally known, that there are in Ireland, (besides a large and respectable body of Presbyterian Seceders) between 200 and 300 Presbyterian congregations, whose ministers are recognized and paid by government. The Synods of Ulster and Munster are at present engaged in endeavouring to provide religious ordinances for their brethren in the north and west of Ireland, many thousands of whom are from various causes entirely destitute, or nearly so, of the means of worshipping God in the way which they prefer.
