Mr. and Mrs. Wesley E. Brooks arrived in Kotzebue Oct. 25. Mr. Brooks is technician in charge for the CAA, replacing Joseph L. Gerth, who has been maintenance technician at Kotzebue for the past six years. Mr. Gerth has been reassigned as relief maintenance technician in charge of Point Barrow, Umiat, and Bettles. Mr. Brooks, formerly with the CAA at Port Heiden and Nome, has been attending Capital Radio Institute of Engineers at Washington, D. C., for the past two years. This is his first station on his return to Alaska, and he brought with him his bride of a few months. Mrs. Brooks is a native of Philadelphia.
