TRIBUTE TO MRS. GIBBONS
Things worth while for we farm women to know- that Mrs. Gibbons is a jewel within herself in teaching we farm women how to can, produce and save everything on the farm. With the aid and supervision of Mrs. Walker they do wonderful things, not only with their help in the work but by their bright and happy dispositions make you forget for the time being that it is hard times.
They came into my home and helped me to can fifty odd cans of steak, hamburger steak, roast, Irish stew and liver paste.
My husband says it is well they can only spend a day or two at a time with you for they not only work themselves but keep the men hustling also. They teach us how to economize in every way and assist us in finding sale for our produce.
It will do any community good to have these efficient ladies come in
