Full Text
Grand mother Bingham, an artist of some notoriety, but better known as a first class grumbler, is just now figuring prominently in the Radical papers with a communication attacking Gen. Ewing, democratic candidate for Governor of Ohio, on account of his connection with what is known on the western border of Missouri as Order No. 11. Grand mother Bingham claims to be a democrat and was given a fat position under the democratic administration of Silas Woodson, in Missouri, consequently has no reason to growl at Gen. Ewing or any other democrat. For this reason we conclude that Bingham's object in at this time attacking Ewing is a sinister one, his object being to bring his picture of Order No. 11 well to the front and make a good thing selling the Republican of Ohio copies for campaign purposes.
