ARTILLERY COMMEMORATION
On Monday, the 158th anniversary of the Election of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, was celebrated. To the usual military arrangements of the day, the ceremony of receiving a Standard, presented by the commanding officer, quarter-master-gen. Davis, was added.
The company having marched to the commandant's house, formed in open order, when the daughter of the general, Miss Catherine Davis, addressed the ensign, who attended escorted by the sergeants, on presenting him with the colours, as follows:
