Los Angeles, July 11. - Last night a fire broke out in the Aliso Mills. The building was soon filled with flames from the ground floor to the roof. It was a three-story brick, with the usual amount of framework inside, such as bins, elevators and machinery. The origin of the fire is unknown. The building was owned by Eugene Meyer, Gov. Downey and O. W. Childs. Loss, $50,000.

Los Angeles, July 11. - The following additional particulars concerning the burning of the Aliso mills last night: The building was insured in the State Investment for $4,000; Hamburg and Bremen, policy on property and building was valued at $30,000, and insured for $17,500. Stock of grain on hand, owned by Demmon & Co., value $7,000, not insured. Walls of mill are comparatively uninjured, and it will be rebuilt.
