Receipt of a complimentary ticket to the First Annual Fair and Industrial Exposition, commencing on October 16th and continuing one week. Kansas City has grown from a town of three or four thousand inhabitants to one of the leading cities of the West with a population of thirty or forty thousand. As a railroad centre it bids fair to outstrip all western competitors and is backed by one of the richest agricultural regions in the country. The enterprising people of that place will make the Fair a success.
