MECHANICS TRANSFER TRUCKS

Tuesday seven members of the automotive department drove back from Fort Riley, Kans., with five trucks recently transferred to this school from the War department: Henry Archambault, Simon Durant, Carl Fred, Jim Saul, Artist Thomas, Louie Hicks and George White. The boys were accompanied by Stan Gertie and Mr. E. P. Myers who took charge of the property transfer. One truck was not brought on account of tire difficulties but will be obtained in the near future. The trucks were loaded with surplus property in the nature of blankets and clothing which will be delivered to the Potawatomi reservation, for the use of the Indians needing same. All these trucks and surplus materials were obtained without charge to Haskell Institute through transfer.
