Junior Deputies "Jam Session" Pays off Monday

The managers and members of Riviera club contributed $179.00 to the Junior Deputies fund.

Monday night at the weekly "Jam Session" in charge of the Session. Monday will be the Twin City club combined with Club Embarcadero. Leon Major and Mrs. Ida Fairman

The affair will be held at the Dreamland hall, 9th and State streets, starting at 9:30.

Through the benevolence of the managers and members of the various clubs throughout Pulaski county, the Junior Deputy Sheriffs are reducing their indebtedness of $800, owed for purchase of lights and other equipment.

This year, the organization needs to employ an athletic director. Any interested person may contact Charles Bussey, director of the Junior Deputy Sheriffs. Men who are interested in helping little boys become baseball players are wanted, and parents for volunteers labor to rebuild fence.

The season opens Tuesday night 6:30 o'clock with doubleheader Bussey Brothers and Wood harb and beauty shop, versus visiting teams.

Managers and sponsors of the baseball team will hold meeting at Little Rock packing with Chris Finkbriner as host.

All boys interested in playing ball, report to the baseball field at 29th and Louisiana streets, any afternoon.
