IMPERIAL, Jan. 19.-Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Ogan were in Imperial Tuesday on business.

Ben Young of El Centro was an Imperial visitor Tuesday.

Weldon Bathrick of Gardena, returned to his home there, Monday evening after a hurried trip to visit his mother, Mrs. Mabel Bathrick of South E. St.

Mr. and Mrs. S. J. McKim plan a trip to Los Angeles some time this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Coombs were business visitors in El Centro and Imperial yesterday.

Wooten Turner was in Imperial yesterday. Mr. Turner, who has been working at Jacumba for a number of months at a service station, has been transferred for about six weeks to Holtville. Mrs. Turner and son did not accompany Mr. Turner to the valley.

Mr. Bridges of Brawley and Mr. Bolton of El Centro, representing a valley oil company, called on Joe Hallawell yesterday.

J. T. Powell returned Sunday evening from Redding where he had been called as a witness on the trial of a former Brawley man. He was accompanied on his trip by Charles Edmondson. On their return they spent a night at Turlock, and one in Los Angeles.

Jerry Jenkins was an El Centro visitor yesterday.

Mrs. Thad McCall and mother Mrs. Olive Dehn, were in Imperial Tuesday, calling on friends.

The Parliamentary Law class meets tonight at the library, 7:30, Mrs. Hatch was very pleased with the turnout at the first meeting last week.

Allen Larison was in El Centro yesterday transacting business.

The Women's Organization of the Community Church met this noon with a pot luck dinner at the parish house. Miss Helen Scott, county secretary of the Y. W. C. A. spoke and displayed the curios she brought with her from the Orient.

Mrs. W. O. Hinderks entertained the Bridge Club yesterday with a pot luck luncheon at her home on North E. St. After an excellent lunch the ladies spent the afternoon sewing. Four of the members were unable to attend.
