We no longer doubt of an open rupture between the Courts of Copenhagen and Petersbourg. It is said that the Danes have seized two villages belonging to the Duchy of Mecklenburg, which were pledged to the Hamburghers for Money lent by them to the Duke of that name. We have advice from Petersburgh, that the Emperor hath sent orders to the Magistrates of Kiel, and other places belonging to him in the Duchy of Holstein, to suffer no Subsistence or any of the necessaries of life, to be exported; but on the Contrary, to raise all the Money they can to establish magazines of corn and meal sufficient for a year. These letters add, that General Tottleben would command a body of light troops; but that an officer of trust would be joined with him to prevent illegal exactions.
P. S. Letters from Hamburgh of the 18th inst. advise, that war is declared between the Courts of Copenhagen and Petersbourg.
