The Fisheries Treaty in Secret Session.

WASHINGTON, May 22.-The senate went into secret session at 1:40 in the afternoon on the fisheries treaty. A resolution will be offered or motion made to consider the treaty with open doors. The Republicans in caucus yesterday decided, with but three dissenting votes, to accept Mr. Riddleberger's open session resolution, and it is stated the Democrats will offer no objections.

Later-The secret session of the senate was interrupted thirty minutes. Riddleberger's resolution to consider the fisheries treaty in open session came up and was defeated by a vote of 28 to 27.
