Wayland said that mortgagees and banks were co-operating in the work of relieving mortgage embarrassed home-owners.
"The method of obtaining a loan is this," Wayland explained.
"The home-owner gets from this office or from one of the other offices available throughout the state, a blank form and correctly fills it out. Then they should be sent to the Phoenix office. After the applications have been checked to insure that they are in the proper form, an appraisal is made. If the appraisal is satisfactory, Wayland instructs the attorney in the county in which the applicant is located to obtain a first mortgage on the property for the federal government, and the transaction is finally completed in the county in which the applicant is a resident.
Wayland said that application forms could be secured from these persons in the various counties:
