Mrs. Willard Fromdahl, severely frozen about the feet and legs, is reported to be recovering at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
Mrs. Fromdahl was stranded in the sub-zero windstorm which struck this area last week Wednesday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Fromdahl were returning home when their automobile broke down on the Benrud road, about 35 miles north of Wolf Point at about 9 o'clock Wednesday night. The rising wind was estimated at about 50 miles per hour, and the temperature was recorded at 14 below.
Wrapping themselves in blankets, the couple started to walk to a farm house for help. Before reaching shelter from the storm, Mrs. Fromdahl was overcome by the cold and could walk no farther. Bundling his wife up in both blankets Mr. Fromdahl continued on until reaching the Bruce Brookman farm home.
In Brookman's car they returned to Mrs. Fromdahl and rushed her to the Trinity hospital. Her legs and feet were badly frozen.
