Full Text

We would direct attention to the article in this number by Professor Gage, of Westminster College, entitled "A Dangerous Decision," in which he discusses very conclusively the action of the last Assembly on the "Caldwell case." It must appear that the construction placed on the finding of the court was not the true judgment of the Assembly. The value of this discussion is in making it clear that if in the future we are to secure discriminating accuracy in such cases, we must define the meaning of a vote to "sustain in part," how it shall be taken and how construed.
