Thursday, 4 o'clock, P. M.
The Convention re-organized by the appointment of Chester Loomis, of Ontario, for President.
The committees for that purpose, reported against the delegation from Madison, headed by Mr. Stebbins, and in favor of the delegation headed by Horatio Seymour, in Oneida. The committee to whom was referred the question of the Albany delegation have not yet reported.
Nine and a half, P. M.
The Albany delegation headed by John Van Buren, was admitted.
No ballot was taken for Governor until 7 o'clock, when Silas Wright received 112 votes, A. J. Parker 7, H. J. Redfield 6, J. B. Skinner 1.
Whereupon Silas Wright was unanimously nominated for Governor, and Addison Gardiner by acclamation for Lieutenant Governor. Adjourned to 9 o'clock to-morrow morning.
