Universal Language Making Strides in England, Is Report

LONDON, June 25.-Esperanto, the universal language, is making much headway in England among the commercial classes. The British Esperanto association, organized in the interests of furthering the language in Great Britain, has grown by leaps and bounds.

The association has about 15,000 active members, and classes are held in London seven times a week. Hundreds of pupils have already graduated from the course and readily find positions translating the language for use on the continent, where it is now becoming a popular form of communication between commercial houses.
