THE WASHINGTON LOG CABIN
Has resounded with the acclamations of the People almost every night during the last month, over the glorious victories won by their fellow-citizens in different parts of the Union, who fortunately had votes as well as voices. The results of the contest, throughout the country have been regularly proclaimed, and accompanied by speeches of the most spirit-stirring character. Where so many have distinguished themselves, it would be invidious to single out any one for peculiar commendation.
