EDINBURGH, February 23.

The following are said to be the number of troops to be sent out this season to America.

British regiment 15,000

Detachments from the Guards 2000

Detachments from other regiments 3000

Recruits raised during the winter, for regiments principally in America 2000

The troops at Gibraltar and Minorca, to be replaced by Gen. Burgoyne's army 6000

Recruits for the Hessians, Brunswickers, Hanau's, Waldeckers, &c. already arrived in Britain 2000

More to arrive yet this year 4000

Hanoverians to be taken into pay 6000
