VIRGINIA AND KENTUCKY
The Convention entered into by Henry Clay, on the part of Kentucky, and Benjamin W. Leigh, on the part of Virginia, having been unconditionally ratified by the General Assembly of Kentucky, an election was held on the 9th ult. for two Commissioners to constitute a part of the Board to be organized under the compact between the two states, and for two Attorneys to represent the interests of the state before the tribunal.

Hugh L. White, of Tennessee, & Jacob Burnett, of Ohio, were unanimously elected Commissioners.

Henry Clay and John Rowan were duly elected Counsel for the State of Kentucky.

The Board of Commissioners is to meet at Washington city in the course of next month.
