Full Text

Vienna, Feb. 11. The Military Conferences go on at Court in a Manner that Seems to demonstrate the Continuance of the War with Vigour: but notwithstanding this, many People think a Peace will be concluded; one of our Allies, having, in Effect, declared, that he is no longer in a Condition to Support her Engagements. Two of our Generals are dead at Dresden; 15,000 men are in the Hospital; and if, as some suppose, we are obliged to take the Field against Infidels; by that time we have Settled Matters with our Neighbours, the Taxes already severely felt, will be increased.
