WALTER JENKINS ELECTED CAPTAIN OF COMPANY K

Walter Jenkins was elected captain of company K, Fourth regiment, Texas national guard, at the meeting of the company held Wednesday night in the armory, in the court house building. Mr. Elliott has been a militia staff officer for several years, holding the position of quartermaster and commissary of the second battalion. He was formerly a second lieutenant in company K. Clifford Elliott was elected first lieutenant and William G Gooch was elected second lieutenant.
