We were provided with another demonstration of the Unit membership solidarity, and its deep feelings in the matter of just and reasonable settlements of grievances. The Executive Shop Committee was instructed, at the regular meeting this past Monday to pursue negotiations on pending grievances to the extent strike action if such is deemed necessary. The grievances at issue involve basic principles of Unionism and their proper disposition is a must in order to preserve the welfare of this organization. The new Industrial Relations head must be taught that we are sincere in our dealings with those things which affect our mutual well-being, even if this lesson is conveyed via economic pressure.

Many thanks Bob Hintz for your substantial contribution of Sales Tax Stamps. Incidentally, Bob is but recently recalled yet he had not forgotten the Summer Camp children.

All of a sudden Mike Sundermeier and "Michigan Bob" Weldishofer are refusing all offers of free cokes.

You haven't answered the question posed by Helen Freeman, Bob Beard. "Is the 'Stock Room' better than just plain, ordinary trucking"???

Your seniority dates as of March 20th are: Male 5/5/54; Female, 10/3/44.

This correspondent will be only too happy to mention in this column events of occasions of particular importance to individual members. Items such as these must be submitted by 11 a.m. Monday of each week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY this coming week, Mar. 26th, Dick Miller and Bob Banks; 27th, the personable Chairman Bill TeBeau, Madeline Hansen, and "Corky" Janowiecki; 28th, Fanny Campbell; 29th, Al "the Voice" Gause, Isabelle Byrnes.
