Miss Michi Kobi, talented and beautiful Japanese actress, will be vacationing here starting July 24.
Miss Kobi's latest film "Cry for Happy" with academy award winner Miyoshi Umeki is now showing on Broadway.
Miss Kobi is starring in the Rogers and Hammerstein musical "Flower Drum Song" at the new multi-million dollar civic auditorium in Pittsburgh. When she returns to the states from the Virgin Islands she will appear in Cleveland and Warren, Ohio.
Aside from "Cry for Happy," Miss Kobi has starred in "Tokyo After Dark," "Hell to Eternity" and "12 to the Moon."
On Broadway, she starred in "Teahouse of the August Moon" with Gig Young and narrated the American premier of the Kabuki dancers.
On television, Miss Kobi has appeared in "Adventures in Paradise," the "Ann Sothern Show," "Climax" and "Studio One."
