WHIG Meeting In Lancaster, Pa. Arrangements are being made on an extensive scale for the Whig Mass Meeting to be held in Lancaster, Pa., on the 5th of September. There is every reason to believe that it will be one of the largest and most interesting political assemblages ever convened in the "old guard of the Keystone State." In addition to a number of the able men of their own State, the Committee of Arrangements announce that the Hon. John M. Clayton, of Delaware, and Reverdy Johnson, Esq., and the Hon. John P. Kennedy, of Baltimore, have positively promised to attend, and they also confidently expect that the Hon. Daniel Webster will be with them on that occasion.
