Making Themselves Miserable.

Opposition editors are making themselves miserable about the probable action a Democratic Congress may take on a Kansas Constitution, should one be presented at the next session. "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof," is a scriptural saying, and it seems to us that there is no use whatever in worrying over a Kansas Constitution until it is sent up to Congress. A Democratic Congress has given peace and quiet to that distracted Territory—a thing an Opposition Congress failed to do, and it is very fair to presume that a Democratic Congress will settle this whole Kansas business in a satisfactory manner to the nation. Every new State that has ever been admitted by a Democratic Congress, and it would be strange, indeed, if Kansas should be admitted by an Opposition Congress.
