Delegates Back From School
TWELVE delegates from the Convent of Mary Immaculate, who attended the Summer School of Catholic Action held at Fordham University, New York City, have returned to Key West after completing courses at the school.
The Key West Sodalists to the school formed the most distant delegation present from the United States, and were also one of the largest groups present.
Courses were given on world problems, industrial and rural life, spiritual development, vocational guidance, youth leadership, recreational activities and a number of other subjects. There were 30 religious and lay teachers at the summer school.
The delegates who attended from Mary Immaculate were Nellie Trujillo, Violetta Sosin, Lillian Perez, Celeste Teresa Haines, Nancy Reyes, Ida Soriano, Chita Herrera, Betty Lou Garing, Dora Martinez, Dolores Solano, Norma Martinez and Marina Sikes.
