Sarah Ann Davies, a daughter of D. C. Evans, of South Bend, was examined as to her sanity by Drs. James and Harrington Tuesday noon and was taken to the insane asylum at St. Peter by her husband. She is 37 years of age and has a family of six children, the youngest being a year and a half old. Five years ago Mrs. Davies suffered her first attack and again last June. Her insanity is caused by her joining the adventist church, and she wants to go away and make away with herself because she thinks she is too wicked to live with her family. A month ago she attempted to cut off her hand because it offended her, as she thought.
