Letters from the Hague mention, that the Dutch look upon the King of England's Death as one of the greatest Misfortunes that could befall their State, as he was always disposed to accept of the Apologies made for Irregularities committed by their Subjects, during the present War, without coming to Extremities, from the Regard he had conceived, early in Life, for that Protestant State, on Account of its hearty Concurrence in the Grand Alliance formed by King William against France; and it is for this Reason, the States-General are sending over an Ambassador Extraordinary.
