COLLEGE PRESIDENT, FRIENDS CRUISE ALASKA WATERS

Pastor and Mrs. M. L. Miles were surprised Saturday by a short visit from Dr. G. Bowers, president of Walla Walla college and Mrs. Bowers. With Dr. Bowers and his wife were sixteen other members of the college faculty besides a few friends. Among the group were F. W. Peterson, business manager, and Mrs. Peterson.

The group left Seattle on the morning of June 26 aboard the yacht, The Junior, and were planning to be back in Seattle July 12. Walla Walla college is one of a number of Senior colleges owned and operated by Seventh-day Adventists. The college is accredited with the State of Washington and has an average annual enrollment of 600 students.
