REPORT OF PROSPERITY SCHOOL,
For the Third Month Ending Jan. 26, 1881.
Whole number in attendance during month 54
Average attendance during month 42
Per cent of attendance during month 83
Average progress of pupils, 1. as indicated by merit marks, which were carefully taken during the entire month.
J E Sheaffer, C O Clemens, Henry Fahnestock, Daniel Fahnestock, John Phillips, Maggie Sheaffer and Malinda Stroup were in attendance every day.
A spelling school held on the evening of the 21st of January, is said by H K Troutman, Daniel Knouse, Wm. Fahnestock, Harry Clemens, Andrew Limpert and Elias Crawford, to have been the best they ever attended. It was also highly appreciated by the participants.
