On Monday night a Porter carried a packet directed to a certain Maiden Lady, near Axton, which he said came from Oxford, and that he must have 1s. 6d. for carriage, &c. The money being paid, and the maid curious to see the contents, she opened the basket soon after the Porter was gone, and to her great surprize found in it a live child, about two months old, having a ticket pinned to its breast, with the following inscription: I am a relation of yours, pray use me kindly.
