While Handling a Pistol Tom Pinkoson Accidentally Discharged Piece.
While carelessly handling a pistol at the home of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Pinkoson, late on Thursday afternoon, Tom Pinkoson accidentally discharged the piece.
There was considerable excitement for a moment, when it was discovered that the ball had entered the young man's leg, but it was soon ascertained that it was only a flesh wound and of little or no consequence, save the pain which will naturally follow for a day or two.
This was a "close call" for Tom and he says it will teach him to be more careful in the handling of firearms.
