Many Road Officials Are Now in Seward

Mr. F. W. Norcross, of Washington, D. C., with M. L. Merritt, R. J. Sommers of Juneau, and W. J. McDonald are inspecting roads in the vicinity of Seward.

Mr. Norcross is representing the Department of Agriculture, and getting first hand information on conditions in the National Forests. He left for Kenai Lake by auto stage this morning. Mr. Summers is territorial engineer, and will go on through to Fairbanks and return to Seward with Colonel Steese about July first. On the arrival of Mr. Summers and Colonel Steese here, the proposed Spruce Creek road will be investigated.
