ORGANIZATION WINS

DOVER, Del., Sept. 12.—The State Republican organization emerged victoriously in a bitter factional fight over the gubernatorial nomination in the Delaware State convention. Douglas Beck, son-in-law of United States Senator T. Coleman du Pont defeated I. D. Short of Sussex County for the nomination.

The Sussex County delegation walked out of the convention hall, declaring that they had not received a square deal. Sussex County claimed the right to name the candidate for Governor by right of rotation.
