Fred L. Grosslight, brother of Joe and Louis Grosslight, well-known local pawnbrokers, has disappeared, it was learned, when Gov. Ferris granted the appeal of officers from Portland, Ore., that Grosslight be extradited to stand trial on the charge of embezzling $1,700 worth of checks and diamonds valued at $250. Attorney Percy Grose, who represented Grosslight, said he had no idea where his client is at present. Grosslight was released in police court here, under bail of $500. He was arrested here Jan. 14, charged with being a fugitive.
