Major General William Lassiter,
commander of the Eighth Corps
Area, accompanied by Major W.
H. Morris, assistant G-3, and First
Lieutenant Leander D. Syme, aide-
de-camp, arrived in Nogales Mon-
day for the purpose of making an
inspection of Camp Little. Im-
mediately upon the arrival of the
Corps Area commander, there was
a review, followed by a general in-
spection. General Lassiter left for
Tucson early today. A reception
and dance was held in his honor
at the Officers' Club Monday even-
ing.
