Richmond, Jan. 23-At 3:10 this afternoon, after some discussion, A. W. Chauncey was elected Judge of the Corporation Court of Alexandria, over Hon. Charles E. Stuart present in largest number. Mr. Musbach, in his speech nominating Judge Stuart for re-election, read a number of documents to show the animus of the opposition to Judge S., some of which was traceable directly to Delegate Farr, of Fairfax.
The other judges elected to-day were:
Louisa-J. H. Woolfolk
Russell-J. W. McBroom.
Patrick-A. M. Sibrook.
Nelson-J. I. S. Kirby.
King and Queen and King and William-J. D. Foster, and Samuel Bassett French. Judge of the Hustings Court of Manchester, and J. H. Sherrard, sr., of the Hustings Court of Winchester.
