The Chicago Bandmaster Preparing Plan for it. Project in.
The Board of Public Works
report a plan to the council
from Monday for the improvement
of Lincoln Park. Mr. Dubois, the band
special conductor from Chicago, got the
day Sunday looking over the park
and in the evening had a lengthy talk
with the members of the band. Mr.
Dubois thought that a very pretty place
could be made out of the park, and his
views met with the approval of the
band. It is thought he would have the
plan ready in a few days. It appears
likely that the plan will recommend
considerable an expenditure
larger than the council can now make
