752nd AIR FORCE BAND
HERE FOR FAIR
Yesterday at Marks Air Force Base the 752nd Air Force Band arrived via army air transport from Anchorage to play concerts for the citizens of Nome during the Northwestern Alaska Fair being held here this week Wednesday through Saturday.
Warrant Officer Arthur A. Jason stated that the band is very new, having been together only about a month.
Jason said he made the trip to Washington and other points in order to get a band together and they are doing a very good job for so short a time playing together.
The band will play tonight in the Nome High School for the opening of the Northwestern Alaska Fair.
