NEW YORK, April 25.--The ceremonies attending the elevation of the Rev. Thomas F. Cusack to the position of auxiliary bishop of New York in St. Patrick's Cathedral this morning were of a most impressive nature. The ceremony was conducted by Archbishop Farley, who was assisted by Bishop McFaul of Trenton and Bishop Colton of Buffalo. A number of other bishops were in attendance. At the conclusion of the ceremonies many costly presents were bestowed upon the newly consecrated bishop.
