Chairman Charles R. Howe and Member E. H. Hughes of the state tax commission, accompanied by A. R. Lynch, assistant attorney general, arrived in the city Wednesday afternoon from Phoenix. They came to Nogales at the request of Mayor Harry J. Karns and Chairman Hugo W. Miller of the board of supervisors to discuss the supposed errors in the budgets of the city of Nogales and of Santa Cruz county for 1927. The commission decided to make no ruling until the matter had been given further consideration. They returned yesterday to Phoenix, by automobile.
