Full Text

From Fort Fetterman.

Correspondence of The Leader.

FORT FETTERMAN, Jan. 9.—The recent cold weather is over here, my ink bottle is thawed out again, and the days are once more pleasant and warm for this season of the year. The late storm lasted ten days. Cattle traveled considerable but did not drift from their ranges. A few long horns that were turned loose last summer have died, but range cattle generally are looking well. Most of the snow has gone and cattle can now obtain an abundance of grass.
