Five Months Old Child Found Near Parsons.
Parsons, Feb. 8.-The naked remains of a little baby were found on the Shaw farm, three and a half miles southwest of the city, Saturday afternoon by a number of boys.
The remains were brought to Justice Morris' office and Coroner French instituted an inquiry into the matter. A postmortem examination of the remains was made by Dr. Albert Smith, who gave it as his opinion that the child was white, about five months old, and that it had not been dead over twenty-four hours, and that the infant had been cruelly murdered before it was placed where it was found.
