CINCINNATI, OHIO:

Friday, January 18.

Our Legislative intelligence relates: altogether, to local matters, in which our readers have no immediate interest. One of these bills is to incorporate the Bank of Wooster, and seems to have been very favorably received in the House.

Unless the proposed State Bank be established, it will become a matter of imperious necessity to fill up the chasm, occasioned by the withdrawal of the United States Branch Bank from this State, by the creation of sound local banks.

The pressure arising from the want of a sufficient circulating medium, is now greater, in this part of the State, particularly, than it has been since 1820.
