OIL ACTIVITY

In spite of the inclemency of the weather and the rough condition of the roads there continues to be a great deal of activity. Work is progressing steadily in several places and lively times are freely predicted in the spring.

Last week representatives of the Midwest, which in connection with the Utah Oil Refining Co., will operate the recently acquired Lackey holdings, passed through Opal on their way to Big Piney section. They are said to have made the statement that a standard rig and all equipment, would be shipped into the field at once.
