Texas.--Advices from Texas give an account of the organization of a military force in that State to aid the Mexican revolutionists. The first part of the expedition reached the Sonora river on the 15th ult., and reinforcements were hourly expected. A large number of troops were expected to cross the river on the 27th ult., and their commander, Capt. Henry, had issued a proclamation, stating that their intention was to aid in establishing a more Republican Government, and eventually to bring it under the protection of the American Eagle.

We imagine that if a Jefferson or Jackson were President Capt. Henry would not cross the Sonora river. But we have a Pierce to rule over us, and lawlessness need fear no curb nor punishment. We trust that this Texan movement may not lead to another,--"whereas war exists by the act of Mexico."
