Woman Sues For
$25,000 Damages
Mrs. Charlotte Ann Mayberry, 20, a resident of Jerome Township, Route 3, Plain City, has filed suit for damages to the amount of $25,000 which she hopes to collect off of Lark Napier, Jr., the defendant of Hilliard.
The suit is in connection with an automobile accident which occurred last March 26th, on Crottinger Road near the village of Arnold, when the car driven by Napier was involved in a collision with one driven by the plaintiff's husband, Alfred L. Mayberry.
Mrs. Mayberry, a minor whose suit was filed by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Griffith, accuses Napier of negligence in speeding, driving left of the center of the road and failing to give one-half of the roadway to her husband's approaching car.
Her petition states she was hospitalized in Jane M. Case hospital, Delaware, from March 27 until April 3. She says she underwent plastic surgery there and is still under treatment for facial injuries.
The firm of Marriott and Marriott, Delaware, is representing the plaintiff in the Union County Common Pleas action.
