MUSIC SUPERVISOR IN
SCHOOLS HERE RESIGNS

John B. Gross of Pleasant street, supervisor of music in Putnam schools for the past year and a half, has tendered his resignation from that position and will leave early in February to assume new duties as supervisor of music in the schools of Ocean Grove, N. J. His successor has not been named as yet. Mr. Gross has been very successful in Putnam, his first regular teaching assignment following his graduation from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N. Y. He is the son of the late Rev. Charles M. and Mrs. Gross of this city. The late Mr. Gross was rector of St. Philip's church in this city.
